To further strengthen academic culture, enhance students’ awareness of integrity, and create a fair, just, and disciplined examination environment, our college recently organized themed class meetings on “Academic Integrity in Examinations” across all classes. The initiative aimed to guide students in establishing correct attitudes toward examinations, consciously complying with examination regulations, and jointly upholding sound examination discipline.
The meetings focused on the significance of academic integrity in examinations, examination regulations, and the serious consequences of violations and misconduct. Through explanations by class advisors and student leaders, students gained a deeper understanding of the university’s examination management policies, clarified the basic codes of conduct required during examinations, and further recognized that integrity is not only the foundation of academic development but also a vital reflection of personal character and moral cultivation.
During the discussion session, students shared their views and reflections on academic integrity in light of their own learning experiences. There was a strong consensus that examinations are not only an assessment of knowledge acquisition but also a test of personal integrity and self-discipline. Students emphasized the importance of taking examinations honestly, demonstrating their true abilities, and proving themselves through diligence and competence. In some classes, activities such as the collective reading of the Academic Integrity Pledge and group commitments were organized to reinforce students’ sense of responsibility and self-discipline.
Through the implementation of these themed class meetings, students’ awareness and commitment to integrity in examinations and adherence to rules and discipline were further strengthened, creating a positive atmosphere for the upcoming examinations. The college will continue to promote academic culture development, guiding students to uphold integrity as a core value and competence as a foundation, and to demonstrate a positive and professional spirit in fair competition.
