To strengthen professional development and talent cultivation, fully leverage the exemplary and guiding role of outstanding alumni, and promote coordinated improvement in professional teaching and student development, our college recently hosted a returnee experience sharing session featuring outstanding alumnus Li Zhixin. The event was attended by faculty members and student class committee representatives, and focused on in-depth discussions around learning in the Digital Media Technology major, overseas experiences, and pathways for development after returning to China.
During the sharing session, Li Zhixin drew on his academic background in Digital Media Technology to systematically review his overseas study and practical experiences. From perspectives such as curriculum structure, project-based training models, and key areas of competency development, he introduced the teaching characteristics and practical approaches of digital media–related programs abroad. At the same time, based on his experiences after returning to China, he analyzed current development trends and evolving talent demands in the domestic digital media technology industry, providing valuable insights for professional teaching and student training.
In the discussion and exchange segment, Li Zhixin engaged in in-depth dialogue with faculty members and class committee representatives on topics including the impact of overseas study on the enhancement of professional skills and comprehensive competencies, as well as the opportunities and challenges encountered during the process of returning to China for further development. He suggested that greater emphasis should be placed on cultivating practical abilities and innovative awareness in professional teaching and class development, and that students should be guided to plan their academic and career paths at an early stage to strengthen their understanding of, and adaptability to, industry development.
This alumni returnee experience sharing session further strengthened communication and connections between alumni and the college, offering practical reference for professional development and student management initiatives. The college will continue to make full use of outstanding alumni resources, build multi-level communication platforms, and continuously enhance the quality of professional development and talent cultivation.
