Recently, IIDC of Shanghai Jianqiao University carried out the Professional Teachers Enter Dormitories activity, organizing faculty members to visit student dormitories for academic guidance and caring interactions.
During the activity, teachers entered the dormitories and engaged in round-table conversations with students, patiently addressing questions related to professional courses. They provided personalized guidance and suggestions based on the students' ongoing projects and works. For first- and second-year students encountering issues such as software operation and design thinking, teachers offered on-site demonstrations and shared practical tips. For upper-year students working on graduation projects and portfolio refinement, teachers analyzed each case individually and proposed directions for improvement.
In addition to academic support, the teachers showed concern for the students' daily life and adjustment to campus, listening to their thoughts and offering advice on time management and career planning.
