Explore the world of creativity and art
为激发创意思维，提升设计专业素养，国际设计学院2024级新生以及品牌设计与数字媒体专业的学生在老师Juan-Carlos和JOHN GRØTTING的带领下，踏上了探索艺术与设计交融的旅程。此次实践调研选址于M50创意园区与西岸美术馆，两个代表当代艺术与设计多元融合的地标性场所，活动旨在通过沉浸式的观察与学习，拓宽同学们的创作视野，为设计课程提供新的灵感来源。
To inspire creative thinking and enhance design professionalism, the 2024 cohort of freshmen from the Intermark International Design College, along with students majoring in Brand Design and Digital Media, embarked on a journey of exploring the fusion of art and design under the guidance of their instructors Juan-Carlos and JOHN GRØTTING. The practice research was conducted at M50 Creative Park and the West Bund Museum, two iconic landmarks representing the diverse integration of contemporary art and design. The activity aimed to broaden the students' creative perspectives through immersive observation and learning, providing new sources of inspiration for their design courses.

M50创意园区调研/西岸美术馆参观
Research at M50 Creative Park and Visit to the West Bund Museum
M50创意园区作为上海设计与艺术的核心地带，以其充满活力的创意氛围吸引了众多艺术家与设计师驻足。在这里，每一处空间、每一个细节都体现了设计与生活的深度融合。下午，同学们来到素有“艺术殿堂”之称的西岸美术馆。学生们在馆内游走，细细品味每一件艺术品的形式与内涵。
M50 Creative Park, as the heart of design and art in Shanghai, attracts numerous artists and designers with its vibrant creative atmosphere. Here, every space and every detail embodies the deep integration of design and life. In the afternoon, the students visited the West Bund Museum, known as the Temple of Art. They wandered through the museum, carefully appreciating the form and content of each piece of art.
学生们被琳琅满目的艺术作品与别具风格的创意工作室所吸引。从陈列着传统与现代相交作品的画廊，到充满未来感的数字互动装置，每一件艺术品都传递着独特的创作语言。
The students were drawn to the dazzling array of artworks and the uniquely styled creative studios. From galleries displaying works that merge traditional and modern elements to futuristic digital interactive installations, each artwork conveyed a unique creative language.

实践调研的收获与启示
Gains and Insights from the Practice Research
此次实践活动不仅让学生们领略了艺术的魅力，更帮助他们深刻理解了设计与艺术之间的紧密联系。同学们在调研结束后表示，通过此次参观，他们不仅获取了丰富的创意灵感，还更加明确了设计专业的学习方向。
This practice activity not only allowed the students to appreciate the charm of art but also helped them deeply understand the close relationship between design and art. After the research, the students expressed that, through the visit, they not only gained rich creative inspiration but also clarified their future direction in design.

At M50 and the West Bund Museum, we not only saw the external beauty of the artworks but also felt the powerful design logic and artistic thinking behind each piece. This experience has made us more confident about our future in design, said by AYANAT from Branding Class.

实践调研活动是同学们走出课堂、贴近行业的一次宝贵经历。它为学生们打开了一扇窗，让他们从不同的角度理解艺术与设计的多元性。相信这些体验将成为同学们设计生涯中不可或缺的一部分。
The practice research activity was a valuable experience for the students, allowing them to step out of the classroom and connect with the industry. It opened a window for them to understand the diversity of art and design from different perspectives. We believe these experiences will become an indispensable part of the students' design careers.
未来，我们期待国际设计学院的同学们能将本次活动中的所思所悟融入到日后的学习与实践中，在设计领域绽放属于他们的独特光芒！
